This afternoon the Patrons beat the SCIBA at Taunton Deane IBC by 126-90 avenging the recent defeat inflicted by SCIBA on the County President’s team. We regret to report that Ken, a county badged player, died recently and that his funeral was held today. Unfortunately we were not advised of Ken’s passing as we would otherwise have published details of the funeral arrangements.
Dont forget that this meeting will be held at the Victoria Club, Street. This is the meeting when your club representatives come and collect the usual plethora of items including of course the 2015 Competitors Handbook (which replaces the Yearbook). The date of this meeting was wrongly quoted in an SBA January Circular.
Publicity is just as important in Bowls as it is in any other sporting activity. Associations, Leagues and Clubs are encouraged to send in any interesting or important pieces of information or news items so that favourable publicity for our sport can be obtained.Read more>>
