This morning John Hick, Neil Westlake, Laura Holden and Stef Branfield lost to Northamptonshire 22-24 in the National S/Final. Tough luck guys but well done.
The A team (rejigged because of the unavailability of Stef and Laura) lost by 2 shots to Sussex. Rinks: Kayley Manns, Abi Brigham-Curtis, Chantelle Manns, Kirsty Hembrow (skip) lost 19-30, Jenny McMillan, Elishia Hooper, Tiff Ellis and Becky Mcmillan (skip) won 23-14. bad luck girls.
The Clevedon quartet beat a Cornwall rink 23-10 to reach the QFs. The opponents conceded after 16 ends. This means that Stef and Laura will be unavailable for tomorrow’s Amy Rose Somerset A team.
The girls lost 31-41 against Northamptonshire. Rinks: Imogen Cracknell, Charmayne Hooper, Jade Poolman and Courtney Seers (skip) lost 16-21. Laura Steel, Kelly House, Chelsea Maggs and Shannon Crouch (skip) lost 15-20. The A team plays Sussex tomorrow without Stef Branfield and Laura Holden due to the clash with the Mixed Fours Q/Finals.
